Libra ♎︎ The Weighing Scales (September 23 - October 22)
Most commonly associated with harmony and balance, the Libra scales are the only constellation in the Zodiac that was not named after a character or an animal. According to Roman mythology, the scales are wielded by the Goddess of Justice, who is sometimes associated with Virgo. The scales also represent the perfect balance of the seasons on Earth, the time of year when the days and nights are equal. In Egyptian mythology, Anubis and Ammit worked together to judge the souls of the dead. If the scales swayed against goodness, Ammit devoured the heart and the soul was thrown into a lake of fire.
Those born under the sign of Libra are sociable and have a strong sense of right and wrong.
